ContraFlame® passive fire protection and cryogenic spill protection systems
ContraFlame® is certified by Lloyd’s Register, DNV and ABS and is used on heat exchangers, hot and cold vessels, saddles and skirts, welding nodes, risers, piping, valves, flanges and more in the offshore and onshore oil and gas, defence, marine and LNG industries.
Up to 2 hours
ContraFlame® systems are hydrocarbon pool fire rated and jet fire and high heat flux (HHF) jet fire rated. They emit negligible smoke and fumes and undergo no chemical changes in fire conditions.
Excellent weather resistance
ContraFlame® systems use a jointless, seamless D2004 laminate system, making them capable of protecting personnel and structures in the most demanding saline and marine operating environments.
Up to 185°C
ContraFlame® PFP and CSP systems are tested and proven for use in extremes of operating temperature, giving them greater versatility of application when compared with intumescent type materials.
A preformed syntactic silicone passive fire protection (PFP) material that can withstand extension, compression, and shear forces.
