AIS and KamHaris – a winning partnership in Nigeria

We pride ourselves on our “supply and apply” strategy which means that we both manufacture and apply subsea insulation materials, ensuring that your project is completed to our exacting standards. Our partnership with KamHaris allows for this in Nigeria.

With a large, flexible team of qualified applicators in the UK, teams of regional applicators or trusted, trained partners in other global regions and the world’s largest fleet of application equipment, we can apply our subsea insulation materials at fabrication sites in all the major oil basins in the world, from the North Sea to Australia and anywhere in between. Our partnership with KamHaris Energy Limited (KEL) in Nigeria is a perfect example of this.

AIS and KEL first started working together in 2015. Due to the great synergy identified between our two companies whilst successfully working together on a number of projects, in 2018 a more formal collaboration was established.

At the time, President of KEL, Harrison Douglas, commented:

“Finding the right partner was key for us.  Therefore, we are delighted to be working closely with AIS whose presence in the energy industry is significant.  Our collaboration is already boosting the presence of both companies in the region and demonstrates our commitment to Nigeria.”

Partnering with KEL means that:

  1. We can act locally, complying with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act.  Therefore, we are able to accept an order placement locally in Nigeria.
  2. We have a blend of skilled and experienced resources from both AIS and KEL.  This ensures that high-quality, robust and on-time product is provided to our customers, whilst considering efficiency and price and ensuring the safety of all involved.
  3. We have a better understanding of location-specific constraints.  Therefore, we can ensure that schedules are maintained or improved upon.

If you’re looking for a global subsea insulation company that can act locally, AIS is the perfect choice.  Contact us to find out more.
