Manuplas® extends operational life of customer vessel

Before making their vessel obsolete, a customer who we had worked with previously and supplied vessel fendering spoke to our marine team to find out if there were any cost-effective solutions available to them.

Our customer wanted to:

• Upgrade their vessel
• Increase the range operational duties the vessel was able to complete
• Extend the operational life of the vessel

Our customer had decided to install aluminium to the front of the boat and discussion with our marine team for a suitable fendering solution.  We recommend, designed, built and installed a bow fendering solution which would enable the operational duties of the vessel to be extended to become a windfarm crew transfer vessel.

Our team worked closely with the naval architect to develop the right solution. Our fenders have high abrasion resistance and can prevent damage to the vessel ensuring that time out of service for repairs is minimised saving on cost.

Talk to our marine team to find out how you could extend the operational lifespan of your vessel.
