Our local presence in Dubai allows us to offer global solutions, just like our other locations.

For example, our presence in Canada and Kazakhstan means we are ideally placed for regional cold climate projects and capable of supplying PFP and insulation jackets globally. Today, we’re taking a closer look at AIS in Dubai…

When developing ContraFlex® jackets in our Dubai facility for PFP and insulation projects, our local design team produce bespoke jackets via our client’s 3D scans, 3D models, and Navisworks. By using this approach, we can deliver global projects, working with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) or EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).

Our team in Dubai recently worked on a project in the USA where we received input from 3D scans, 3D models, and Navisworks. This helped us design ContraFlex® PFP jackets that were a perfect fit.

Many of our project managers and designers in Dubai have been with AIS since 2012. A number of this experienced team worked on the Suncor- Fort Hills secondary extraction, a major project in removable PFP.

In terms of manufacturing capabilities, our Dubai facility has a regular capacity of 1000 m² – 1200 m² of ContraFlex® jackets per month. However, we scale up production to 1800 m² – 2000 m² in less than two weeks.

So, not only do we have the expertise to create the quality that our customers have come to expect, but we provide passive fire protection and insulation on large-scale projects, no matter the location.

Wherever your facility is, contact our expert team today to discuss your latest requirement.

Why winterisation matters: ContraFlex® insulation jackets

As temperatures drop, unprotected equipment becomes vulnerable due to exposure to the elements. This often results in frozen lines, reduced flow, damaged valves, and costly downtime. Maintenance teams will need to consider these challenges to reduce the potential impact of drops in temperature.
