AIS is delighted to announce that Latin America general manager João Volpato has been invited to join the Energy Industries Council (EIC) South America committee. The announcement further enhances our relationship with the organisation.

Established in 1943, the EIC is a not-for-profit organisation with over 750 member companies. These businesses deliver goods and services to the oil & gas, petrochemical, pipeline, power, nuclear and renewable energy industries. Operating globally, they provide project information and practical marketing assistance to members.

EIC committee members play an important advocacy role in promoting and supporting the not-for-profit initiatives of the EIC. João‘s invitation to the committee will help AIS build contacts and connections, and increase our market awareness in the region.

Upon hearing about his invitation, João said: “I was very delighted to be invited to join the EIC Committee South America. It´s a great opportunity to meet new people and companies and together as a committee help the EIC members in the region to explore the current opportunities in the oil and gas market. I also see it as a chance to understand and respond to new opportunities coming from the energy transition. This industry is growing very fast in the region.”

With a range of future possibilities, João’s invitation means there is scope for AIS to promote the initiatives of the EIC and gain valuable insight into the South American market.
