AIS is proud to announce a joint venture in the USA with Oklahoma-headquartered company, Armacell, a global leader in flexible and engineered foam. Both the joint venture, Armacell AIS LLC, and the manufacturing of insulation jackets will be based in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Utilising AIS design and Armacell production expertise, the partnership will manufacture insulation jackets for the North America HVAC (Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) market, as well as acoustic and passive fire protection jackets.

Ciro Ahumada, Armacell’s Vice President Americas commented:

“Both companies have a long track record in the insulation and energy conservation industries. We offer a local presence in the USA in terms of facilities, management and business development. ‘Made in USA’ coupled with AIS design and Armacell production expertise will make our JV valuable to clients in the region.”

Armacell has led the energy-saving foam insulation market since 1954. With over 27 manufacturing facilities worldwide, the company’s insulation materials are made for technical equipment, and high-performance foams are tailored to high-tech and lightweight applications. These attributes are complemented by the quality of AIS ContraFlex® jackets, an exciting prospect for customers in the region.

Andrew Bennion, Managing Director at AIS commented:

“By combining our technology with Armacell’s expertise in industrial efficiency and world-class manufacturing capabilities, we are confident that this partnership will provide our customers with state-of-the-art jacket solutions.”
