The global insulation market was valued at $45 billion in 2017, with anticipated growth of 6.0% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Brazil, specifically, is believed to have utilised 335,150 tonnes or 10,603,450m3 of thermal insulation products alone, in 2016.

Isoremov is deeply involved in supplying insulation jackets to the renewable, sugar cane and ethanol markets in the country. This expertise, coupled with the existing track record of Advanced Insulation in markets such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals and LNG, in newly combined facilities, will provide survey, design, manufacture and installation as a one-stop-shop for requirements of passive fire protection and insulation jackets.

The acquisition also brings additional sales recruitment, with Leonard Almeda joining as a new ContraFlex sales representative. Leonard will be working with Katia Regina, the former owner, who will now move to the position of Sales Manager for ContraFlex insulation jackets at Advanced Insulation Brazil.

Katia Regina commented, “Joining forces with Advanced Insulation brings a significant benefit to Isoremov, the Brazilian insulation market and our potential for future growth. Heightening efficiencies, technical expertise and an expansion of the range of products we can offer to the Brazilian marketplace is great news for our existing and potential client base across the region.

“I am excited to learn more about the new range of products we will be able to offer, from acoustic to high temperature turbine insulation and acid, alkali and steam detection jackets.”

Joao Volpato, General Manager of Advanced Insulation Brazil commented,

“Katia and her business will help us to strengthen our relationships with local businesses, having worked here in Brazil for over six years. We look forward to this new period of growth and warmly welcome Katia and Leonard to the AIS team.”
