Jackets cause positive reaction for chemical company
C-Capture designs and installs innovative carbon capture technology using post-combustion capture of carbon dioxide from emissions across a range of industries. Operating across a broad range of temperatures, C-Capture needed the solution designed, manufactured and fitted on piping, valves, vessels, heat exchangers, pots and separators before shipping the skid unit fully insulated.
The highlights
The challenge
C-Capture’s compact design meant our team had to be careful of clash points. We also had to work with minimal space available to install the insulation jackets. The skid’s variable design meant C-Capture required an efficient, flexible solution that could be adjusted on site where required.
Our design
Our team consulted C-Capture on a wide range of designs, fabrics and infills. We were able to provide a tailor-made removable and cost-effective solution for process skids as a result. The infill materials were changed where clash points occurred to ensure the jackets would provide maximum insulation properties in small spaces.
The improvement
All jackets were installed in significantly less time when compared with traditional cladding type insulation. This was a result of our product design and expertise.

C-Capture were delighted with the product and service offered by our team. Design, production and installation were completed within a three-week window ensuring that they achieved their project timescales. Our material expertise was a real benefit to the team as they were not familiar with the range of infills or fabrics available for flexible jackets.
