The role is both office and factory related, and the candidate will be key in creating and updating procedures regarding preventative and reactive maintenance and helping the company to improve efficiency without compromising on safety or quality.

Main responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing a maintenance plan for equipment including identification of all maintenance resources required
  • Developing preventative maintenance procedures for equipment, including building services
  • Carrying out appropriate reviews to present summary recommendations to senior management
  • Implementation of all agreed plans and procedures
  • Creating and maintaining all required records for efficient end-to-end evidence of procedure implementation
  • Building effective supply chain relationships for all maintenance activities
  • Developing and reporting on maintenance KPIs
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance budgets
  • Implementing health and safety in accordance with company procedures
  • Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems

Ideal candidates will be:

  • Fully competent in Health & Safety regulations
  • Understanding of industry products and processes
  • Experienced with work planning, material control, and maintenance techniques
  • Previous experience on implementation of quality management techniques
  • Clear communicators to effectively build relationships, both internal and external, across all areas of the business
  • Capable of creating/keeping efficiently written records
  • Competent IT users across various systems

Shift Details:

You will be allocated to work on a Pitman shift pattern (2 on - 2 off - 3 on - 2 off - 2 on - 3 off) and working from 06:30 to 18:30. Your rota is given to you on your first day and allows you to plan for the year ahead.
