You do not need any prior experience but must have a keen interest in a finance career, with the determination and drive to succeed. You will receive on-the-job training and support alongside your AAT studies and be mentored throughout.
Responsibilities will include:
- Handling incoming queries for the Accounts Payable team via telephone or email
- Managing the team email inbox
- Processing supplier invoices and expenses
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing invoices for supplier entities
- Company credit card processing
- Processing cashbook transactions for multiple companies within the AIS group
- Providing general support to our Accounts Payable team and Management Accountants
- Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems
Ideal applicants will be:
- Capable of analysing numerical data
- Highly organised and methodical in their approach to multiple tasks
- Confident communicators with ability to build effective relationships
- Able to work well under pressure to ensure strict deadlines are met
- Competent IT users, particularly MS Excel
- Dedicated to complete AAT studies
- Able to drive and have access to own vehicle for travel to/from college in Filton, Bristol

You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week, 08:00-16:45 Monday-Thursday and 08:00-12:30 Fridays when in the office; college timetable for attendance will be confirmed in due course.
The successful applicant will be enrolled onto the AAT Level 2 course at either Stroud College or Gloucestershire College, with studies beginning in September 2022.
