At AIS, safety is our top priority. This is why we have recently launched our 'Think Safe, Act Safe, Be Safe' initiative to ensure we prioritise safety in all our operations. We aim to empower every team member to embrace personal responsibility for their safety and the safety of others.

Dan Howell, Group QHSE Manager

"Our goal is to elevate our health and safety culture to world-class standards, with a commitment to ensuring the well-being of each employee. We want everyone to return home safely every day, free from injury or ill health."

In essence, the initiative aims to continually improve the health and safety culture throughout our organisation, emphasising the importance and significance of safe work practices. Every team member plays a vital role in preventing accidents, and the success of this initiative relies on a collective awareness and commitment.

We kicked off the initiative this week with our first local all-day event at CRP Subsea in Skelmersdale. It was an incredible day filled with collaboration and idea-sharing, as everyone got involved in workshops to improve our health and safety culture.

We are excited to extend this initiative to the rest of the CRP Subsea team throughout February, with events planned for our entire global workforce over the coming months.

The mission statement setting out what we want to achieve:

A culture where safety always comes first, with all employees taking personal responsibility for the safety of themselves and for others, leading by example and achieving zero accidents.
