This expansion closely follows the appointment of Chris Napier as MD for the division in February 2020 and is the first significant change to be made since his appointment. The new units will provide 5,340 sq ft of additional warehouse space, thus increasing the factory space by 12.5%.

The additional facility will allow Manuplas® to increase their storage and production capability enabling them to significantly increase the volume and range of products available for immediate delivery to customers. It will also enable the current storage area to return to its use as a carpark.

The investment in the Plymouth site, coincides with the acquisition of a new factory in Gloucester that will focus on the production of subsea products. Enabling the Plymouth team to focus on growing and expanding their marine capability.

Chris Napier MD for the division said,

“This is a hugely exciting time for our marine division, this expansion will enable us to develop our existing site and also focus on developing our range of products to meet the needs of our customers quickly and efficiently.”
