Safety is fundamental to everything we do at AIS. Our Think Safe programme is embedded across the organisation and actively led by senior leadership. Through regular Think Safe events, we reinforce that the health and safety of our workforce is our highest priority.
Think Safe events
Our Think Safe, Act Safe, Be Safe programme has been rolled out across the business with the aim of engaging every employee worldwide. All-day Think Safe events have been delivered at multiple locations, including Brazil, France, Dubai and the UK, combining workshops, training and targeted communications.
Each event is led by senior leadership (usually including our Head of QHSE as well as Directors) who are actively involved to ensure consistent messaging, strong engagement and commitment to health and safety at every level of the organisation.
We ensure momentum is maintained through an ongoing strategy focused around key risks, competency, communication, and behaviours.
Award winning safety culture
Think Safe is central to how we promote and embed a strong safety conscious culture across the business. Our efforts have been recognised at both regional and national level throughout the years, having received the Health and Safety Award at the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards.
