The cable protection repair system (CPRS) is deployed where existing cable protection systems (CPS) have failed or slipped from J-tubes, leaving cables exposed and unprotected in harsh subsea environments.

Retrofit repair for failed cable protection

The CPRS is a split half-shell bend limiter installed over damaged cable protection systems to restore 360-degree bend protection. It can be deployed in-situ with diver assistance, protecting cables and enabling continued operation without removing existing infrastructure or cables.

Installed in-situ without the need to remove the cable or existing CPS systems, enabling fast offshore repair of failed cable protection systems and restoring protection quickly in subsea environments.
Bend protection
The CPRS is a dynamic bending limiter that maintains the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius throughout the project life, providing 360-degree protection against overbending and structural damage at failure locations.
Easy installation
Lightweight, quick, easy and safe for a diver to install, with low submerged weight design improving handling and reducing offshore installation complexity in repair scenarios.
