Motion stabilisers
Controlled stability for subsea pipelines and cables
Motion stabilisers protect subsea cables, umbilicals and flowlines by mitigating instability in both axial and lateral directions on the seabed, anchoring movement through helical fins that increase seabed resistance and improve on-bottom stability.

Benefits
Enhanced stability and reduced seabed movement
Motion stabilisers use self-burying helical fins and abrasion-resistant Uraduct® material to increase seabed resistance and control pipeline movement. They mitigate axial and lateral instability, reduce reliance on external anchors, and provide reliable long-term stability in challenging offshore environments.

Dual stability
Mitigates both axial and lateral instability in subsea pipelines, cables and flowlines, helping maintain intended seabed position and reducing uncontrolled movement caused by currents, thermal effects or seabed geometry.

Self-burying fins
Helical fins are designed to embed into seabed soils, increasing resistance by over three times and improving on-bottom stability tailored to specific seabed conditions and environments.

Digital monitoring
Can be integrated with Mimir Digital Intelligence to provide continuous motion monitoring and data capture through embedded multi-sensor technology, removing the need for standalone monitoring devices offshore.
