Did you recognise the vessel?  It’s known as a renewables data capture vessel and is equipped with multiple data collectors to record key data for our customer (wind, wave, height and sun) that is analysed to evaluate the potential for the site.

Renewables is an exciting and growing market for our marine team, they recently worked on a project with a customer in Europe to supply our ‘lightweight elastomer floats’ to their data capture vessel.

Easy to install and reinforced with a high-performance spray polyurethane, the floats are ideal to provide stability and help protect the skid as it captures key data.

The closed cell foam structure of the floats prevents all water absorption – making these an ideal solution.
