AIS wins the EIC WESCA Innovation Award for NjordGuard, our cable protection system for offshore wind, alongside recognition for our Rising Stars and support for workplace culture.
It was a winning night for AIS at the EIC WESCA Awards in London, as we took home the Innovation Award for NjordGuard, our cable protection system developed by the team in Skelmersdale.
Held at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, the evening brought the energy industry together to celebrate the organisations, individuals and innovations making a difference across the sector. Comedian and host John Culshaw kept the evening entertaining, while Stuart Broadley, CEO of the Energy Industries Council (EIC), made it another enjoyable and memorable event.
Following AIS' recent King's Award for Enterprise for Innovation, the WESCA win provides further recognition of the team's work in developing innovative solutions for the offshore wind industry. To be recognised among such strong competition makes this a particularly proud moment for everyone at AIS.
The evening also saw three of our Rising Stars, Felipe Kauak, Raghavendra Devadiga and Jonathon Robinson, recognised through the EIC/RGU MBA programme, supporting the development of future talent across the energy sector.
AIS was also proud to sponsor and present the Culture Award, recognising organisations that put people and workplace culture first.
Congratulations to all the winners, nominees and everyone involved in making it such a memorable evening. To find out more about NjordGuard and our subsea solutions, click here.
