Crushable foam wrap mitigates annular pressure build-up through controlled foam collapse at predetermined temperature and pressure conditions. Installed on the casing string, it increases annulus volume without altering well design, while maintaining casing integrity and annulus isolation.

Classified as a Type II APB mitigation technology, the sleeve can be installed on a wide range of casing sizes without affecting the base pipe or changing well construction methods.
Non-mechanical design
The mitigation response is completely non-mechanical, eliminating risks associated with equipment malfunction, improper installation or performance degradation over time in demanding well environments.
Tailored solution
Using different grades of hollow glass microspheres and resins, Crushable foam wrap can be tailored to accommodate the operational requirements of a wide range of well environments.
