Crew-approved mooring buoys for Falmouth Harbour
Falmouth Harbour has strengthened its position as one of the UK's leading deep-water ports with a £50,000 upgrade to their post-WW2 steel mooring buoys to better serve the growing number of superyachts and large commercial vessels visiting the harbour. This project aimed to enhance the harbour's appeal as a flexible and reliable Atlantic gateway.

Unique fender for tourist boat no problem for Manuplas®
Our customer, a major cruise line, required a fender to protect a tourist boat stored on the back of a cruise ship. For use in the harsh arctic environment, the customer needed a large fender to protect the vessel against bumps such as ice. To complete what was a unique project, the fender also needed to be appealing to the eye as the boats intended use was commercial.

Solution

Throughout the project, we supported the customer in selecting the most suitable quayside equipment to meet their requirements. Our solution was a full system, comprised of cell corner fenders, cylindrical fenders, and isotropic SG iron bollards, alongside necessary hardware.

Results

The result was a satisfied customer who we maintain a longstanding relationship with. Their port is now fully protected against impact, enhancing safety during berthing for both the port and docking vessels.
