Why choose us
For many of our customers, it is our reputation as a global leader that first attracts them. This reputation is built on our ability to develop robust, reliable, commercially aware solutions that protect lives, infrastructure and assets. But our proposition extends beyond that; our open, consultative approach focuses on forming proactive business relationships that meet and exceed expectations.
From board level to apprentice level, every member of the AIS team shares the same values. We take responsibility and are answerable for our actions. We bring our experience and expertise to every interaction, spotting the right opportunities and making them count. We are open in our dealings with our customers and ourselves. And we believe in innovation and seeking better ways to do things.
We were founded in Gloucestershire, UK, in 2007 with the aim to provide passive fire protection and subsea insulation products. Since then, through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, we have grown to become a global leader for passive fire protection, insulation and marine products with a reputation for innovation excellence. We have presence in 12 locations across the globe and employ over 300 people.
Safety is the bedrock of our business and we make safety our responsibility at every level and in every interaction. Our “Think Safe, Act Safe, Be Safe” programme promotes a culture where safety always comes first. All employees take personal responsibility for their own safety and for safety of others, lead by example and aim to achieve zero accidents.
